Day 4: That’s it. I have to

bring gluten back into my diet.  I have no reason to keep depriving myself, and it is only going to make me less healthy.  I am not going for the starved look.

Plus, I have not slept a full night in days, and sometimes that crazed feeling just needs a little comfort food.

Like Onion rings.  Or a PB&J.  Were this Arcadia, I would be all over the gluten/dairy-free case that they have in the dining hall for people with special diets.  But there is not one here.  No brownies and muffins made from rice and beans.  No gallons of soymilk that can be easily smuggled out in my bag.

And with no car, access to grocery stores is limited.

I have to do what I have to do.  And I have to eat.
