Anonymous asked: Why did you leave Arcadia?

I left Arcadia because I realized that I would never be able to study music there as a major, which I only realized I wanted after I started college.  It is a great school.  It is still my number one choice.  I could have stayed there and gotten a great education in theatre arts, but I need music in my life to be truly happy.  I left so suddenly because, while I thought I was going to be transferring in the fall, a school with a reliable faculty and connections I trusted took it upon itself to do whatever it took to get me oriented and involved this spring, which eased my financial situation a little bit and prepared me for events in the summer.
